Watched a French movie and realized some things in the human personalities that brings destruction to us. The greater one's pride is, the higher the chances of violence. Mainly because we would be unable to admit our faults and we wouldn't be able to stand it when people ridicule/humiliate us, be it knowingly or unknowingly. It then brings out our instincts which is usually to defend ourselves by reacting violently and sometimes causing greater hurt to the people around us. So, I guess sometimes we have to try our best to not let our pride get the best of us. Oh well, the human mind works in a very peculiar way. Kind of worrying how we are slowly evolving..
